Vi Peel™ Q&A

What is the VI Peel™?

The VI Peel is a professional-grade chemical peel that stands out because it’s safe for all skin types. You don’t just have to limit it to your face either: It can safely treat skin around your eyes, on your neck, on your chest, and on your hands.

Chemical peels like VI Peel use powerful ingredients like phenol, salicylic acid, and trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to exfoliate your skin. These chemicals strip it of impurities as well as old and tired surface cells. It doesn’t hurt, and it involves little preparation and downtime. Plus, you can see results in a week or less.

After cleansing your skin, the Health and MedSpa team applies the peel in two applications. The first layer might sting just a little, but then your skin becomes numb. Then, they apply the second layer and wait for the cells to start sloughing off.

You don’t need a final neutralizing solution as you would with other chemical peels, and you can leave the office right away.

Your skin starts to peel around three days after the treatment and stops peeling around the seventh day.

Which skin benefits can VI Peel offer?

VI Peel benefits your skin’s tone and texture all in one treatment. Early signs of aging and damages from sunlight or trauma to the skin all become less prominent after your skin heals from the VI Peel. A few of the features that see a difference after this chemical peel are:

  • Acne scars
  • Injury scars
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Age spots
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Sun damage

Your skin doesn’t just look more radiant after a chemical peel, its health improves. For ideal results, be sure to keep your skin moisturized and protect it from sun damage as much as possible. You should also try your best not to pick at your peeling skin, tempting as it may be. The process will complete itself.

How can I boost my VI Peel?

Your VI Peel is customizable. Your skin has its own unique type, and your chemical peel should reflect that. The Health and MedSpa team helps you choose the VI Peel with boosters that align with your needs. Your choices for boosters include:
