Injectable Solutions Available at Health & Medspa

There are several types of injectables available in the market, but at Health & Med Spa, we only offer.
The Beauty Benefit of Injectables

1. Wrinkle Relaxer with BOTOX Cosmetic®

BOTOX Cosmetic® is among the most trusted botox injectables treatments for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This anti-wrinkle injection works by gently relaxing targeted facial muscles, softening dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated expressions.

At Health & Medspa, our experienced team customizes your Botox treatment according to your facial structure and goals. We provide:
  • Forehead Botox injections to smooth horizontal lines
  • Under-eye Botox to target fine lines and puffiness
  • Jaw Botox for a slimmer, more balanced chin profile
  • Lip Botox to subtly enhance the shape of your lips
  • Crows feet Botox, also called Botox for under-eye wrinkles, to refresh your eyes and soften expression lines

2. Dermal Filler with JUVÉDERM® Collection

Dermal fillers from the JUVÉDERM® Collection are designed to restore youthful volume, smooth lines, and enhance your natural facial contours. At Health & Medspa, we use Juvederm fillers to treat a variety of concerns, including fine lines, lost volume in the cheeks, and hollows under the eyes. Our specialists also provide dermal fillers under eyes to reduce shadows and create a refreshed, well-rested appearance.

For clients looking to enhance their lips, we offer Juvederm lip filler or Juvederm lip injections, delivering natural-looking fullness and definition that complements your features. Every treatment is customized to your needs, ensuring subtle, balanced results that enhance your beauty without looking overdone

The Beauty Benefit of Injectables

Injectables offer a variety of benefits for maintaining a youthful, refreshed appearance.
  • Botox injectables work by relaxing targeted facial muscles, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They can be used in areas such as the forehead, under the eyes, jawline, and lips to soften expression lines and restore a smoother look.
  • Dermal fillers, on the other hand, address concerns like restoring lost volume, enhancing facial contours, and smoothing deeper wrinkles. In addition to providing immediate results, dermal fillers also help stimulate the body’s natural collagen production, supporting skin texture and elasticity over time.

Botox Vs Fillers: Understand the difference

While both Botox and dermal fillers fall under the category of injectables, they serve different purposes and work in different ways. Understanding the differences can help you choose the right treatment for your needs.

Botox

Mechanism of Action
• Botox fillers bind to the nerve terminal and inhibit the release of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which leads to muscle paralysis

Targeted Areas
• Botox injections are primarily used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, especially in the upper face, including the forehead and under the eyes, as well as in other areas such as the lips and jawline.

Dermal Fillers

Mechanism of Action
• Dermal fillers are substances that are injected into the skin and stimulate the skin to create a plump and smooth effect.

Targeted Areas
• Dermal fillers are commonly used to enhance facial areas such as the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, under the eyes, chin, and jawline. They can also be applied to other areas, including the hands, neck, chest, and earlobes.

Cost for injectables that enhance your facial appearance

All injectables at Health & Medspa have costs according to the client's individual needs and aesthetic goals. Prices may vary depending on factors such as area of treatment, type of injectable used (i.e., Botox for wrinkle relaxation and Juvéderm for dermal filling), amount of injectables required, and overall treatment recommendations. For individual options and estimates, we recommend scheduling a consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

You may experience some side effects from injectable treatments, as with any medical procedure. Common reactions include mild pain, bruising, redness, or swelling at the injection site, and in rare cases, infection. With Botox, there is a possibility of temporary muscle weakness, and if not administered correctly, drooping eyelids may occur. Dermal fillers, though effective, carry small risks such as vascular occlusion, which in severe cases can lead to tissue damage, vision loss, or stroke.
You can easily notice that dermal fillers typically last longer than Botox. Botox usually provides results for about 3 to 4 months, while dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to several years. The exact duration depends on factors such as the type of filler used, the amount injected, and how consistently you maintain your treatments.
You should take certain precautions after Botox treatment to achieve the best results and avoid complications. Avoid rubbing or pressing the treated areas for 24 hours to prevent the product from spreading. Do not lie down or bend forward for four to six hours after injections. Skip alcohol and blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil for at least a day, as they can increase bruising. Strenuous exercise and smoking should also be avoided for 24 hours. Limit sun, heat, and tanning exposure for up to 48 hours, and avoid harsh skincare or cosmetic treatments for one to two weeks. Try to sleep on your back the first night.
Dermal fillers come in various types, each suited for different concerns. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are the most common, used for adding volume, enhancing lips, and smoothing wrinkles with natural-looking results. Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) fillers are thicker and work well for deeper lines and contouring while boosting collagen. Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) fillers gradually restore volume by stimulating collagen production, making them ideal for long-term facial rejuvenation. Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) fillers are semi-permanent, offering structural support for deep wrinkles, acne scars, and contouring.
